The Project
The main emphasis of the DICE project focuses on the development of augmented ICT knowledge and skills for vulnerable groups such as low-educated young people, immigrants, NEETs, etc. DICE outputs are designed to reflect not only the needs of these groups but the needs of the market and effective learning methods as well. This fact will enable the connection of the education system with the needs of the labor market and has the potential to improve the quality of life for socially excluded groups such as low-educated young people, immigrants, NEETs. Moreover, the DICE format of the learning content and delivery channels reflects the special preferences of “Z generation”, such as information in form of video/reels, short text messages, or graphic information will open new possibilities for more effective vocational education and training.
The project is composed of 5 work packages:
WP 1
Project Management
WP 2
Kit of Skills and competences for competitiveness and innovation
WP 3
Curriculum & OER Development
WP 4
DICE MOOC platform
WP 5
DICE Roll out and exploitation of the project's result
Results

WP2 - Kit of Skills and competences for competitiveness and innovation
Its aim is to identify and present levels of digital skills for entrepreneurship compared to a recognized European Digital Competences Framework. The presented digital skills will take into account the specific need of vulnerable groups as well as requirements for entrepreneurship areas and the outcome will present the potential progress and a future ICT role in targeted areas.

WP3 - Curriculum & OER Development
The main aim of work package 3 is to develop a new curriculum for the EQF level 5, didactical framework as well as enhanced OER for the MOOC platform. During the curriculum development, the partnership will consider the factors such as:
- the overall training objectives,
- the expected learning outcomes,
- the scope of the training methods.
The second part of the work package aims at developing a didactical framework as well as enhancing OER. The open education resources will be developed in the structure relevant for a MOOC platform with the Cohort Based Course (CBC) approach implementation.

WP4 - DICE MOOC platform
The main aim of work package 4 is to design and develop the MOOC platform for DICE services, especially for hosting online education resources and evaluate all developed results in pilot testing events. A MOOC platform is a web-based application able to provide access to learning path to hundred or even thousands of students concurrently. The market offers a wide selection of MOOC platform each with its strengths and weaknesses. From this point of view, for the development of MOOC platform will be consider following:
- technology: access technology supported (web browser, mobile, etc.), number of course and students supported.
- communication: tools to teacher/student communication and interaction,
- assessment: tools to evaluate and assess learning achievement,
- pedagogy: pedagogical approach,
- tools: tools to support learning available,
- cost: Opensource, Commercial,
- expandability: possibility of creating custom components

WP5 - DICE Roll out and exploitation of the project's result
Thanks to "Hands on Cohort Based Course" blueprint, which will present the advantage and innovation approach of the MOOC courses organization for vulnerable groups, where DICE target groups are included, and "Workshop for stakeholders“ events realization, the project will ensure exploitation of results and maximize impact. WP5 will elaborate and implement the roll-out plans and activities linked to dissemination, exploitation, and communication.
